Adept Rocketry - Accessories - Memory Modules

Nonvolatile memory modules are used with Adept's Recording Altimeters™ and On-Board Computers. The data in the removable and reusable module is permanent until the module is used again in another flight. The data cannot be lost from loss of power, or even from a devastating crash. Even if the module has been smashed during a crash, it is still possible in most cases for Adept to read the data for you (no charge).

Data can be downloaded to a PC at any time after a flight. The new CABPCD2 Personal Computer Downloading Cable Assembly is used for dumping data directly from NVMEM6 Memory Modules. The NVMEM6 Memory Module stores 16-bit data (one-foot resolution) sampled 10 times per second for 96 seconds. It replaces the older and more expensive NVMEM4 Memory Modules used previously in recording devices available from Adept.

Several of the Memory Modules may be purchased for convenience when there are to be several flights. Use one module per flight, then download the data from all the modules when convenient. In this way you do not need to have a computer in the field. Be sure to mark each module or its protective bag so you can later determine which module went with each flight.

The NVMEM6 is a lot smaller than a postage stamp. It measures only 0.55" by 0.55" by 0.28" thick. It has 5 pins on the backside that plug into a socket on the recording device. It is shipped  inside a small pink antistatic ziplock bag.

NVMEM6, 96-second Nonvolatile Memory Module: $12.00 each.

For use with the ALT1R Recording Altimeter™: MEM1R Memory Module: $12.00 each.

For use with the ALT2R Recording Altimeter™: MEM2R Memory Module: $12.00 each
